More about Bill Doerrer
I aspire to be like Ted Lasso.. Here's why:

I believe that we can always meet our goals and accomplish our objectives. My optimism stems from my belief that we can always do better, that most people have the best intentions in their actions, and by staying curious.

Why I love my job:

I learn something new every day from our state teams. Whether it is the granular detail of how state legislatures run, the intricacies of new policies or programs, or data analysis of state and local voter attitudes, 50CAN teaches me new things each day.

My connection to public schools:

While implementing President Biden's National Cyber Workforce and Education Strategy, it became evident that our country is not doing enough to prepare our kids for the good-paying jobs of the future. Public education is the most important tool we have to ensuring that our country has the workforce necessary to compete on the global stage.

What I’m bad at:

I am as subtle as a jackhammer.

The image that represents why I work at 50CAN:

A sunny beach because every day is a sunshiney day in paradise.
