Here in Minnesota, we just received confirmation that the Senate Education Committee will hear S.F. 481—the “MinneMinds” bill—tomorrow. We have less than 24 hours to act, but the fate of our bill would benefit tremendously if you could let bill author Sen. Chuck Wiger know he has your support to increase access to quality early education.

Please contact Sen. Chuck Wiger and thank him for taking a major step forward on behalf of Minnesota’s littlest learners! The MinneMinds bill would provide all 3- and 4-year-olds living at or below 185 percent of poverty with access to quality early learning programs.

More than 40 years of local research tells us that making investments in high-quality pre-K has an incredible return on investment: far more kids stay in school, enroll in college, are productive in the workplace and have higher earnings – a key to future economic growth.
