Attention writers, bloggers, Internet lovers and education reform advocates: we want your talents! We’re proud to announce our inaugural School Reform Blogging Fellowship, a new platform for teachers, principals, students and parents to tell their stories about how education reform policies are playing a role in their classrooms, schools and communities.

We’re looking for two blogging fellows from each of our states–Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Rhode Island– to report twice a month from the front lines of education reform, giving an up-close and personal look at education policy as it affects what happens in the classroom and in life. One fellow should be either a teacher or principal and the other should be either a parent or student. Each blogger will receive a $1500 stipend as well as prime placement on their state CAN’s website and right here on GreatBigBlog.

Interested? Great! Download and fill out one of the applications below:

We’ll accept applications until April 2, so make sure to get yours in before then! Winners will be announced on April 9.

We created the School Reform Blogging Fellowship to elevate the voices of the people in our community who personally experience the education policies we talk about every day. We want to hear straight from them about education reform and why it matters for their public school.

If you have any questions, let me know (clairelise.rodriguez@50can.org).

Looking forward to receiving your application!
