Derrick Diggs is former President of Diggs Construction. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Morehouse College, a master’s degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and a law degree from University of Pennsylvania. Derrick and his wife have four young children. Derrick has been active in the education reform movement over the last 10 years. He became a board member of ConnCAN in 2013 and served as board chair from 2016-2023. In addition, Derrick serves as a member of the foundation board of Great Oaks Charter School in New York City.
