Dr. Ugochi Emenaha

Dr. Ugochi Emenaha is a recent graduate of Baylor University where she received her doctorate in Education and Organizational Change. She is currently an educator and published author in Houston where she also resides on multiple boards that are all focused on impacting the life of children in the Houston area ( The Jordan Project, High Heels High Tech, and The Palace).

Ugochi is a spoken word artist and uses her passion for literacy and writing to inform educators on research based skills for growing our future leaders. She has spoken at various conferences nationwide including, 100 Black Men in Education’s Annual Conference, Lead Forward in Nashville and the National Association for Multicultural Advancement’s annual conference.

Previously, Dr. Emenaha was a principal, Reading Specialist and classroom teacher in Houston, Dallas and Chicago. Ugochi is also a mother of a budding scientist and a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.
