She began her career as a middle school English teacher with Teach For America in San Antonio, Texas, and continued serving in schools as a teacher and vice principal in both public and charter schools across Texas and Ohio. Angie transitioned into the education technology sector by joining Hazel Health, where she currently leads statewide rollouts of school-based mental and physical health services. In this role, she collaborates with state departments of education, health plans, superintendents, and school teams to bridge sectors and provide critical resources to students.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Idaho and has been accepted into American University’s Master of Education in Education Policy and Leadership program.
