Amber is the founder and Executive Director of Leading Little Arrows (LLA), an innovative organization dedicated to empowering families through accessible, flexible, and inclusive education. With a mission to create emotionally safe environments where all learners can thrive, Amber has championed initiatives that address the unique needs of neurodiverse and BIPOC families. LLA has made a national impact, serving communities with programs that support homeschooling families and engage parents in advocacy and training.

With over 14 years of experience as a home educator, Amber has inspired countless families through her expertise and leadership. She collaborates with local and national organizations to spotlight the urgent need for accessible educational spaces, ensuring that underrepresented families have equitable opportunities for success. Her groundbreaking work has earned her accolades such as being named a 2023 Yass Prize Quarterfinalist, as well as features in Forbes, The 74 Million, and Cato’s Founder Friday.
As a sought-after speaker and advocate, Amber has graced stages such as SXSW and VelaCon, sharing her vision for innovative education and equitable family support. She serves as a VELA Community Connector for North Texas, where she not only amplifies resources for families but also works to create sustainable ecosystems for founders of out-of-system learning environments. Through mentorship and coaching offered at affordable rates, Amber equips these leaders with the tools and strategies needed to succeed, fostering a growing community of changemakers in education.

Amber’s passion is spending time in nature on her family’s land, hosting karaoke and game nights, traveling with her best friend (her husband of 13 years), and cherishing moments with her family.
