Dr. Santarvis Brown

 

Santarvis Brown has been a servant-leader in the education space for the last twenty-years. The intersectionality of faith, service, education, and vision-driven leadership has been the hallmark of Dr. Brown’s entire professional career and ultimately his life. A noted speaker and researcher, he has lent his speaking talent to many community and educational forums, serving as keynote speaker.

He has served as a classroom teacher, school administrator, university professor, and chief academic officer. He has a passion for education and has dedicated his life for educational equity and access. Santarvis has earned numerous awards and recognition, including being noted as one of the Top 100 Global Leaders in Education and Innovator and Change Maker in Education Award. He was recently noted the 2023 International Association of Top Professionals Educator of the Year. He holds a doctorate in Educational Administration and a Juris Doctorate in addition to four master’s degrees and a bachelor’s degree.

He serves on numerous boards and is a member of numerous organizations including the Minority Freedom Community Fund Board of Trustees, where he serves as Chair. He is a proud member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, King James’ Masonic Lodge and 100 Black Men.

He shares his life with his wife Maria, and sons, Dorrien and Santarvis Jr.
